The popularity of electric cars is growing by the day, and so is the demand for charging options. To offer customers more flexible and affordable charging options, Enefit chargers now use a new dual-tariff pricing system.
What exactly will change?
In short, we’ve made the pricing simpler. Instead of the previous three price packages, there are now two where the charging price depends on the charger’s power (up to 100 kW and over 100 kW) and the charging time (for registered users):
- Daytime (from 08:00 to 21:00)
- Night time (from 21:00 to 08:00)
Night time charging is cheaper for registered users than day time charging. In order to allow you to leave your car charging at night, we have removed the time tariff from 21:00 to 08:00 for chargers up to 100 kW. Please note that the time tariff does not include parking fees – check the parking arrangements on site.
Time tariffs:
- For chargers up to 100 kW, the time tariff will apply to both registered and non-registered users after 360 minutes. For registered users, there is no time tariff at night (21:00-08:00).
- In the case of chargers with a capacity of more than 100 kW, the time tariff will apply to both registered and non-registered users after 60 minutes.
For more detailed prices, visit our website. If you are Enefit’s electricity client or have purchased a home or business charger from us, you will benefit from a 10% discount on charging on the public network, both day and night. To activate the discount, link your Enefit accounts.
Why is it worth charging at night?
Charging at night offers several advantages:
- Lower price: Charging price is cheaper at night, meaning lower costs per kilowatt-hour.
- Avoid time-based fees: The absence of a time-based fee makes night-time charging at chargers under 100 kW even more affordable and convenient.
- Better availability of chargers: Public chargers are generally used less during the evening and night hours. This increases the likelihood of finding an available charger where you need one.
