We are pleased to announce that, starting from 9 April, users of our public charging service will have access to the updated Enefit Volt app. We have listened to customer feedback and worked to make the charging process faster and the app even more convenient to use.
What does the update entail?
- Updated design – Enefit has been offering electric car charging to drivers for years, but initial customer journeys focused on the reliability of the app rather than the ease of use. The refreshed design will make our public charging service even more convenient and easier for everyday use.
- More efficient charging process – a faster and more logical charging journey makes the app smoother to use. In the redesigned app, frequently used chargers can be bookmarked as favourites so they can always be found quickly. The “Navigate” setting helps you find the charger you want without having to open a separate map app.
- Important notifications directly in the app – banner notifications bring the latest information on discounts, new locations and other offers directly to the home screen. This way, exciting content reaches you quickly and conveniently. And you’ll still get the usual email and message notifications, so you’re always up to date with the latest news.
- Better user experience – a number of technical bugs that previously affected, for example, the start of a charging session or the way payments worked have been fixed. The update improves the reliability of the app across different networks and devices, reducing the occurrence of glitches in daily use.
Important to know: the update is mandatory
As of 9 April, the latest version of the app will be required to use the service. Download the update in advance to avoid finding yourself at the charger, in a hurry, only to realise you need to update the app before you can start charging.
